Map Embroidery Kit

This guide walks you through the basic stitches used in your Creo Crafting wood embroidery pattern. Each stitch is shown step by step so you can easily follow along while stitching.

Supplies

• Wooden pattern

• Blunt tip embroidery needle

• DMC embroidery thread

  • 6 ft black thread

  • 4 ft of all other thread colors

• Scissors (any sharp scissors will work)

Getting Started

• trim thread 2-3 ft long, tie a knot on one end, then lick the opposite end, flatten between fingers, and insert through eye of needle

• always begin the stitch from the back of the wooden pattern

• start with woven wheels first, then the leaves, save the state outline for last
